| UK's largest internet security business put on the block
Private equity groups 3i, CSFB Private Equity and Baird Capital Partners Europe are to sell internet security business Vistorm for a sum in the region of £100-150m. The firms, which invested in Vistorm in 2000, have appointed Ernst & Young Corporate Finance to sell the business. As lead investor, 3i is understood to be heading the sales process alongside E&Y, who were appointed in the last month or so. .

Mar. 30, 2007: Today, 23-year old Jamaican-born Barrington Irving is en route to Spain as he enters day seven of his ambitious flight around the world aboard a single-engine plane. Irving, a senior majoring in aerospace at Florida Memorial University, has traded in his cap and gown for a brown flight suit, and is at the control of a single-engine plane he calls "Inspiration." He hopes his 5-week historic flight will inspire other young people to resist the negative influences of the streets and work toward their dreams. As a teenager, Irving says he and his friends shared a sense of hopelessness about their futures, as there was little incentive or opportunity for minority youth in the inner city to pursue professional careers. He earned good grades in high school but saw a football scholarship as his only route to college.
